WARWICK — It's a first for this year and a first in general.

Next Thursday evening, Jan. 29, the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce will invite its members and the members of the chambers of surrounding towns and villages to a "Multi-Chamber" after-hours business mixer from 6-8 p.m.

The event will be held at one of the newest eateries in the Hudson Valley, the Black Dirt Brewhouse Restaurant at 28 North Main St. in Florida.

Chamber members and non-members are invited to meet, greet and socialize with business professionals from around the region in a rustically elegant setting.

Guests will have an opportunity to get out of the cold and relax with a cocktail around the large custom pine wood bar. Then, keep your networking going by the warm fireplace in the grand dining room while enjoying live music.

Chef Jay McLoughlin will prepare a variety of appetizers with such specialty dishes as short rib ravioli, maple chipotle wings and deep-fried cheese curds.

"We are excited to be a part of the greater Warwick community and share our freshly made food and locally sourced alcohol from across the region," said Black Dirt Brewhouse owner Kristen Said. "The interest has been amazing and we can't wait to meet all of our new friends who've supported our Brewhouse so far."

The Black Dirt Brewhouse, which serves American continental cuisine using fresh local ingredients, will be open to the general public for lunch and dinner this February. It will also host private events, meetings and offer off-premise catering. And the restaurant's gastro pub boasts 20 beer taps featuring several craft beer, wine and liquor varieties from around the region.

Everyone is invited to join Warwick Valley Chamber members for this winter social event.

Cost is $10 for members and $20 for non-members.

For additional information or to make a reservation, call the Chamber at: 845-986-2720 or e-mail: info@warwickcc.org.
