If you are approaching age 65, you have likely already started receiving information on Medicare and the many products that can supplement what Medicare doesn't cover or pay.
If you are like most people, you are confused about which direction to go and how to get there. For those already receiving Medicare, it is important to understand the yearly open enrollment period and how it can save you money.
On Thursday, Aug. 18, at 5:30 p.m., the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joins Senior Insurance Associates as they host an educational seminar titled "Things You Should Know About Medicare" in the Community Room at Albert Wisner Public Library.
The presentation is free to the public and will be conducted by senior insurance associates whose main goal is to simplify the process of Medicare for you, find the plan that best fits your needs and support it afterwards. They have 42 years of experience in Medicare and Medicare Supplemental insurance.
In addition to the presentation, they will be able to answer any questions that you may have about Medicare and the myriad of options available including:
What is Medicare - Part A, Part B, Part D?
When to enroll in the different parts
MediGap policies
Prescription drug policies
Advantage plans
The "donut hole."
Plan to join the Warwick Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, Aug. 18, at 5:30 p.m. at the Albert Wisner Public Library, 1 McFarland Drive.
