Warwick Celebrate Father’s Day at the Warwick Valley Farmers Market

This Sunday, June 16, is Father’s Day. Kids can celebrate with their dads at the Warwick Valley Farmers Market as they decorate a picture frame especially for him using images of veggies and farm equipment.
This free activity is part of the market’s youth program, which is co-sponsored by Amy Sweetman, owner of AGRISCULPTURE. Sweetman is an artist who has been collaging cultural history, regional indicators and found objects into functional and original works of art.
In addition, there will be face painting and balloon art by Pixie Pop for the kids. And of course live music. This week the music is provided by Party of 4, a flute ensemble from the Hudson Valley.
Of course, the market is a great place to be with your dad on any given Sunday between May and November. Fresh fruits and vegetables grown by local farmers, homemade cheeses and breads, fresh baked pies and cookie bars, the best pesto, beef jerky and pickles around plus so much more can be found at the Warwick Farmers Market every Sunday, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
