Warwick. Be an angel - and help feed a child in our own community

| 19 Oct 2020 | 08:43

Did you know that hundreds of hungry school-aged children live in the Town of Warwick?

Backpack Snack Attack, an outreach program of the Warwick Reformed Church, helps feed nearly 300 of those children by providing kid-friendly meals on the weekends, when school meals are not available.

During this difficult time, many of the Backpack program’s major fund raisers have been canceled, expenses are increasing and the number of children in the program is expected to increase.

Please consider becoming a Backpack Snack Attack “Angel” who sponsors a child – or a family with three children – by making a monthly or yearly recurring donation. For example:

$900 a year feeds a family with three children for a year;

$75 a month feeds a family with three children for a month;

$300 a year feeds a child for a year;

$25 a month feeds a child for a month;

Thanks to the generous support of the community, the Backpack Snack Attack program has never had to turn away a hungry child.
