Warwick. Arbor Day poster contest and tree planting

Each year, the Town of Warwick Tree Commission sponsors an Arbor Day poster contest for 5th and 6th graders at the Warwick Valley Middle School. The theme of the 2025 contest was “Forests Feed Our Furry and Feathered Friends.” Twenty students submitted posters.
Madeline Norberg, a 6th grader, won this year’s contest. The Tree Commission and Norberg worked together to plant a white oak tree in her honor at Mountain Lake Park, as part of the Town’s Arbor Day celebration.
