Volunteers

These St. Stephen parishioners recently volunteered at the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley warehouse in Cornwall-on-Hudson. During their two hour shift, with a few other volunteers, they sorted and packed more than 7,000 pounds of frozen meats, that were donated to the food bank from area supermarkets. Though it seems like much good, that supply will likely last just two to three weeks for distribution to food pantries and soup kitchens in the area. Food Bank of the Hudson Valley needs lots of help from volunteers each week. For information, visit https://foodbankofhudsonvalley.org or call 845 534-5344.
