Voice students raise $800 for disaster relief by singing

WARWICK — On Sunday, Nov. 5, students from Jody Weatherstone's private voice studio gave a concert via Facebook Live to raise money for disaster relief.
The eight singers, from Warwick, Monroe and Washingtonville, raised more than $800 singing songs by Haydn, Pergolesi, Schubert, Gershwin, Berlin, Stevie Wonder, Harry Stiles and more.
The donations were made through Global Giving and go to provide relief for those affected by hurricane and earthquake damage in Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Mexico, and Texas.
