Village of Warwick considers smoking ban

Meghan DuBois O’Connor, Orange County coordinator for POW’R Against Tobacco, displays the signs that will be available to the Village of Warwick at no cost if it enacts its local law banning smoking in all public parks, on public property adjacent to the parks, in municipal parking lots and at village sponsored-outdoor gatherings like those held in the Railroad Green. If enacted, the ban would be among the strongest in the state and violators would face fines ranging from $250 to $2,000.
