Tuxedo’s valedictorian and salutatorian announced

The Tuxedo Board of Education recognized George F. Baker High School’s 2013 valedictorian and salutatorian during its recent meeting. Gathering with Principal Denis Petrilak are salutatorian Alexis De La Rosa, left, and valedictorian Brooke Gonzalez. At the meeting, Petrilak spoke about each girl’s scholastic achievements and talents and presented them with plaques. This fall, Gonzalez will attend the University of Notre Dame in Indiana and De La Rosa will attend Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pa.
