Town of Warwick hosts information meeting Feb. 27 for bike route and pedestrian trail project
WARWICK — The Town of Warwick will host a public information meeting about the proposed Bike Route and Pedestrian Trail Project in the Town of Warwick on Wednesday, Feb. 27, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Warwick Town Hall.
Town officials and staff from Lochner Engineering will present project information and provide an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and provide comments.
Lochner Engineering personnel will be available between 7 and 7:30 p.m. to answer questions or discuss any concerns that individuals have about the project.
A presentation will be made at 7:30 p.m.
The project is scheduled to begin construction in the spring of 2020.
The preferred alternative will construct a 9.6 mile bike loop utilizing town roads and will provide a pedestrian trail connection from Cascade Park to the Warwick County Park.
