Thought you couldn't go solar? Now you can
WARWICK — Historic home owners often face challenges when they look into solar. But there's an interesting new option right in our area.
SunCommon, a solar company with a focus on sustainability and community, is currently constructing a small scale solar farm — or Community Solar Array — on the grounds of the Orange County Citizens Foundation in Sugar Loaf.
Scott Meyers, SunCommon Community Organizer, will be at the Warwick Historical Society to present an information session on how this could help local residents switch to clean, affordable solar energy — without any installation necessary on their homes or businesses.

The session will be held Tuesday, Dec. 4, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Historical Society, 2 Colonial Ave.
All are welcome. Free. Light refreshments will be served. RSVP to Lisa at lisa@whsny.org.
