WARWICK — On Saturday, Sept. 15, the third annual Bridal Trail, sponsored by Price Chopper of Warwick and Corwin Florist, was held in Lewis Park.
More than 50 brides met with wedding vendors from the Warwick Valley and surrounding areas.
In a departure from the first two Bridal Trail events, brides-to-be and their bridal parties were able to sample refreshments, enjoy the music of the Warwick Valley High School Chamber Strings, meet photographers, talk to wedding vendors face-to-face and gain hundreds of wedding ideas and tips all at one location.
They also had an opportunity to view a fashion show with updated wedding gowns and attire by K’s Weddings in the nearby Old School Baptist MeetingHouse.
All Bridal Trail visitors were invited to attend a reception under the tent chaired by Michael Bagley and courtesy of his bakery, Fav’s Treatery, and Jean-Claude’s Artisan Bakery. Emcee Mike Villanueva proposed a Champaign toast to all the brides-to-be courtesy of Peck’s Wine and Spirits.
Many of the vendors and local shops featured special promotions. Those who participated included Etched In Time, ID Fitness, Event 19, Toy Chest Custom Apparel, Forever Jewelers, Joanne DiCesare, Forever, Certified Health Coach, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Miss Fit Outdoor Fitness, K’s Wedding Center, Design Solutions Encor Decor, Bertolini and Co., Frazzleberries, Chumley’s BBQ, The Toy Chest, Peck’s Wine and Liquor, Authentic Productions, Warwick Valley Dental and Laura’s Sweets.
At the conclusion of the reception, Mayor Michael Newhard drew winning tickets for gifts provided by all participating vendors. The grand prize was a wedding cake for the bride and groom’s reception donated by Fav’s Treatery.
“ The Warwick Merchant’s Guild would like to thank event coordinators Tarin Hackbarth and Crissy Hohmann for all of the generous volunteer hours in helping us with this event,” said event chair Nicole Repose. “It was another great success.”
