MIDDLETOWN — S.S. Seward Institute’s Valedictorian Liam Quattrociocchi and Salutatorian John Shaughnessy were among those honored at the annual Outstanding Student Recognition Dinner, hosted by Orange/Ulster BOCES.
The event, held May 23 at Kuhl’s Highland House in Middletown, recognizes the top students in all of the high schools in Orange County.
After graduation, Liam will attend Marist College, where he will major in digital media with a minor in mathematics.
John will attend the University of Scranton on a four-year year Army ROTC scholarship and will major in chemistry and business.
“Both Spartans have made significant contributions to Seward and the Florida community via volunteerism, tutoring and leadership of school based-organizations,” said S.S. Seward Principal Michael Rheaume. “They have set a fine example and they care for others.”
