Therapists attend low back, lower extremity workshop
Twenty-five physical therapists from eight Orange County-area Access Physical Therapy & Wellness attended a Nov. 23 to 24 Manual Therapy Institute training course about sacroiliac joint – low back – and lower extremity therapy.
The two-day course was presented by therapist/trainer Gavin Hamer of the Park City, Utah-based Institute. Access hosts various continuing education courses during the year, as well as “Expand Your Skills Workshops” every two months so therapists can hone their skills, said Access co-owner and Doctor of Physical Therapy Stephen Albanese.
“We place great value on offering our therapists the ability to enhance their clinical skills,” said Albanese. “As they continue to learn new techniques, they are able to provide a higher level of care and improve outcomes for their patients.”
