The Warwick Hope Chest Thrift Boutique host Black Saturday Sale on Nov. 24

    PINE ISLAND — The Black Saturday Sale Event at The Warwick Hope Chest Thrift Boutique will be held Saturday, Nov. 24, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
    Shoppers will be able to take advantage of discounts on new designer upscale clothing, coats, shoes and gifts, as well as slightly used, which are already available at a fraction of their original prices, while helping support neighbors in need.
    “Woodbury Commons has donated many brand new items, many with the retail tags still on them," said Sharon Linnea, the Hope Chest's director. "And the Warwick community once again has shown their incredible generosity donating items for the whole family and many suitable for gift-giving,”
    A holiday traditionThe Warwick Hope Chest’s “Magical Christmas Shoppe” will be open through the Holiday season with a large assortment of decorations, wreaths, holiday displays and ornaments as well as new and gently used toys, games, dolls and crafts.
    For special holiday occasions there is also the Fashion Boutique’s full array of formal and dressy dresses, suits, shoes and accessories.
    All sales of clothing, toys and decorations are sold at minimal cost with the proceeds going to the Warwick Clothing Closet.
    The Clothing Closet supplies families in need with clothing, shoes, and home goods at no charge
    “Starting a tradition of shopping at The Warwick Hope Chest when the holiday season begins is a great way to save while knowing local families in need will benefit,”Linnea said.
    Essentials• The Warwick Hope Chest, located on Schoolhouse Road in Pine Island, is open Tuesdays from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
    • The Warwick Hope Chest proceeds go to support the Clothing Closet which has distributed more than $200,000 worth of free clothing to local families in need.
