WARWICK — Perhaps you “You Can’t Take it With You,” but you can see how some people try this weekend on the stage of Warwick Valley High School.
After a two-year hiatus for a fall production, the Warwick Valley High School Drama Club will present the classic American comedy by George S. Kaufman, “You Can’t Take it With You,” on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 15 and 16, with performances at 7:30 p.m. each evening.
“You Can’t Take It With You” is set in mid-1930s New York, where a young couple from different backgrounds introduce their families. Hilarity ensues as the straight-laced Kirbys come to dinner a night early at the home of the idiosyncratic Sycamores.
Tickets are $8 per person and available by calling 845-987-3100 ext. 22364.
