The first of two 3 Pines Nature Place Community Work Days is Sept. 8

WARWICK — Roll up your sleeves, rack up a few community service hours and be part of the wonderful progress during one of 3 Pines Nature Place Community Work Days this Saturday, Sept. 8, and Saturday, Sept. 22.
The 3 Pines Nature Place is located at the community center in the Village of Warwick. The day starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m.
"Come for 30 minutes, an hour or the day and help us to become what we know can be an Orange County destination for little ones to explore, imagine and create," organizers said in their press release detailing the work. "Think about it as a manicured backyard nature playground in your own backyard."
Organizers said they need gardeners, painters, builders, woodscrafters, tinkerers, teachers, moms, dads, grandmas and grandpas, anyone with a bit of available time and an interest in working in a dynamic, wide-ranging community based nature and children's project.
