Thanksgiving eve service set for Nov. 21

WARWICK — The Warwick Valley Ecumenical Council will host a Thanksgiving Eve Service on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 7:30 p.m. at the Warwick United Methodist Church, 135 Forester Ave.

The Rev. Vernon Dethmers will present the message.

All are invited to celebrate our blessings in a service of worship, message and music. Refreshments will follow.

Proceeds from a freewill offering will benefit the Council’s Emergency Fund.

The Warwick Valley Ecumenical Council Thanksgiving Eve Service is an annual offering to the community of Warwick, hosted each year by a different church. Area faith communities currently participating in the Council include Bellvale Community, Christ Episcopal Church, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, St. Stephen the Martyr Church, Sugar Loaf United Methodist Church, Union African Methodist Episcopal Church, Vision Community Church, Warwick Assembly of God, Warwick Reformed Church, Warwick United Methodist Church and Warwick Valley Church of the Nazarene.
