FLORIDA — Temple Beth Shalom invites community members to join the temple family at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, for the rededication of its cemetery, which had been desecrated in October 2016.
Thanks to the generosity of several anonymous community donors and the efforts of the greater Florida and Warwick community, Beth Shalom was able to repair damage, erase the defaced walls and erect security lighting.
Temple Beth Shalom Cemetery is located on Spanktown Road in Warwick, at the corner of Union Corners and Spanktown roads.
Following the rededication – which will include a brief service and acknowledgements – a Meal of Fellowship, sponsored by Temple Beth Shalom, will be held in the temple social hall, 13 Roosevelt Ave., Florida.
