WARWICK — Hurricane Sandy caused a change in many plans.

The “Technology Expo,” sponsored by the Warwick Valley School District and originally planned for Oct. 29 had to be rescheduled when the storm caused the school’s early closure.

However, a successful event was held the following Monday, Nov. 5.

Parents and community members were invited to come and learn about technology and web applications teachers and students are using to meet the needs of the 21st Century learner.

Visitors learned about digital curriculum resources and how the school district is taking steps to create a bridge between school and home using technology.
