Tammy L. Artusa celebrates 20 years at Seely & Durland Insurance

WARWICK — The owners and staff of Seely & Durland surprised Tammy Artusa with a lunch, plaque and gift at Trattoria Vivano’s in Warwick in honor of her reaching the 20-year milestone.

“Tammy has been an integral part of our business since joining our company in 1992,” Garrett Durland, president and co-owner of Seely & Durland said in the press release announcing Artusa’s tenure. “She has grown to learn all aspects of the business, and has great relationships with all of our key clients.”

Stuart Durland, vice president and co-owner, added: “Tammy has shown tremendous value to our clients with her vast knowledge of the insurance industry. She does that via continuous education as can be verified by her three industry designations, and she’s working on a forth now.”

Those designations include: Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR); Associate in Insurance Services (AIS); Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI); and Associate in General Insurance (AINS).

Artusa joined Seely & Durland in November 1992 in the Personal Lines Department. She became a licensed insurance agent in June 1993. She was promoted to commercial lines representative in May 1997, when she began handling business accounts.

In December 2002, Artusa was promoted to client relations professional supervisor.

Artusa lives in Warwick with her husband, Peter, who runs a successful business called A Sparkling View, and their son, TJ.
