Style Counsel to host recycle old furs for new fur fashions next Thursday evening

WARWICK — You can use any outdated fur you may have inherited or purchased years ago to be restyled in the latest fashion.

And it doesn't involve the life of any mink or other fur-bearing animal.

Next Thursday evening, Oct. 24, from 4 to 9 p.m., Antonovich Furs, one of the best known and most respected fur retailers in the country, is joining The Style Counsel, 19 Main St. in the Village of Warwick, for a one-day sales event.

Daniel Antonovich will be there to feature his selection of furs, shearlings and leathers.

And he will be taking in trade-ins as well as any other furs for repairs and remodels.

Antonovich Furs, located in Totowa, N.J., has been recognized for many years in the Greater New York area as a premier furrier, known for the largest selection of fashionable furs and shearlings; priced for every budget and fit for every lifestyle.

The idea to have Antonovich Furs host an evening at Style Counsel was suggested by Ali Norden, a longtime customer of both firms.

She suggested that many people have fur coats they no longer wear that are hanging in the back of closets and that could be turned into the latest styles.

"Remnants, for example" she said, "could be used for hand bags, denim jackets or even Teddy Bears."

Style Counsel will serve refreshments during the evening. And Antonovich will be on hand to offer suggestions.

"We're proud to have the Antonovich name at Style Counsel," said co-owner Tim Mullally. "Just bring your old fur and your imagination."
