Style Counsel to host recycle old furs for new fur fashions

WARWICK — Any outdated fur can be restyled in the latest fashion or turned into a more useful accessory.

WhenOn Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 20 through 22, Antonovich Furs, one of the best known and most respected fur retailers in the country, is again joining The Style Counsel, 19 Main St. in the Village of Warwick, for a special sales event.

WhatBring your old furs on Tuesday anytime from noon to 8 p.m.; on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. or on Thursday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

WhyDaniel Antonovich will be there to feature his best selection of affordable furs, shearlings and leathers. And he will be taking in trade-ins as well as any other furs for repairs or remodeling.

Antonovich Furs, based in Totowa, N.J., has been recognized for many years in the Greater New York area as a premier furrier, known for the largest selection of fashionable furs and shearlings; priced for every budget and fit for every lifestyle.

Two years ago the idea to have Antonovich Furs host an evening at Style Counsel was suggested by Ali Norden, a loyal and longtime customer of both firms.

She suggested at that time that many people have fur coats they no longer wear that are hanging in the back of closets and that could be turned into the latest styles. And remnants could be used for handbags, denim jackets or even Teddy Bears.

Style Counsel will serve refreshments during the event and Antonovich will be on hand to offer suggestions.
