Student from Warwick wins Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Council poster contest

Damien Jefferson, a ninth-grade student from Warwick who attends Orange-Ulster BOCESí John A. Flannery High School, won the grand prize in the 25th annual Orange County Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Council poster contest.
GOSHEN Damien Jefferson, a ninth-grade student from Warwick who attends Orange-Ulster BOCES John A. Flannery High School, won the grand prize in the 25th annual Orange County Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) poster contest.
Damiens poster placed first out of more than 1,200 entries in this years contest.
ADACs theme for 2012 is Celebrate Life... Stay Alcohol and Drug Free. Damiens poster depicts a young boy with head phones which expresses his feelings that music is how he celebrates life.
In creating the poster, Damien was very focused and passionate about his poster. His art teacher is Rhonda Hennrich.
