St. Patrick's Day in Warwick

This year St. Patrick’s day, March 17, not only fell on a Saturday but, thanks to the luck of the Irish, was also a Spring-like day and crowds of local residents, many in appropriate costume such as Ashley Fitzgerald and Heather Hanson, strolled about downtown Warwick. Once again, some group of local wags, possibly members of the Clan Na Gael, painted a green line, crooked at times, down the center of Main Street. Local pubs were also displaying the tricolor and crowded with patrons celebrating a great day for the Irish.
