— The Warwick Hope Chest Thrift Boutique is bursting with new arrivals of fashions for every special occasion.
A complete palette of springtime colors greet shoppers as they enter the Fashion Floor of the Hope Chest; and shoppers can know that they are helping this non-profit provide free and low cost clothing to families in need at their Clothing Closet clothing bank.
For the cost-conscious bride who wants quality, beautifully detailed bridal gowns along with accessories, shoes, bags and head pieces at a fraction of the prices found at bridal shops and department stores, these new and gently worn gowns are the solution.
Mothers-of -the-bride and all who are searching for special occasion dresses will find the racks stacked with choices.
Springtime also means prom time for local schools and the Fashion Floor is displaying long and short gowns in a variety of colors as well as classic black and white with shoes, bags and accessories.
The Warwick Hope Chest doesn’t forget the men and boys with racks of suits, dress shirts and shoes in every size.
“We find this is such a popular time for us as people hear about our large selection of dressy items that are new or like new," said Laura Shanahan, manager at the Warwick Hope Chest. "These sales help us so much in our effort to continue to provide clothing, coats, and home goods to local families all year long,”
The Warwick Hope Chest, located on Schoolhouse Road on Pine Island is open Tuesdays from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Warwick Hope Chest proceeds go to support the Clothing Closet clothing bank, which has distributed more than $200,000 worth of free clothing to local families in need.
