'Songs for Spotty' will benefit Warwick Valley Humane Society

Pennings Farm Pub and Grill hosts "Songs for Spotty," a fundraiser to benefit the Warwick Valley Humane Society, on Monday, June 9, from 5:30 to 10 p.m. in memory of the late Thano P. Cotsis.

Cotsis was an animal lover who rescued pets from animal shelters, and before his recent passing, he requested donations be sent to the Warwick Valley Humane Society in lieu of flowers. An all star lineup of local musical talent will be featured.

The music will start at 5:30 with acoustic sets by Eric Callari, Strings Attached, Stephen Vechiotti with Al Muller and Peter Cotsis. After 8 p.m., the full electric band featuring Chris Raabe and Jeremy Langdale will rock the house.

Pennings will be donating a percentage of the evening's gross sales to the shelter. The shelter encourages its supporters to come to Pennings for dinner in support of their efforts on behalf of the hundreds of unwanted, abused and neglected animals in their care each year.

Warwick Valley Humane Society manages the Warwick animal shelter, serving the Towns of Warwick, Chester and Tuxedo, and will have a table with information and photos of their animals available for adoption. They will also be selling raffle tickets for their annual fundraiser.

Come out to hear some great music and support a wonderful cause.

Pennings is located at Rt. 94 and Warwick Turnpike, Warwick.
