Sing for your playground

WARWICK — Warwick Playground Dreams invites you to a Night of Karaoke Fun on Saturday, Sept. 29, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Village Billiards, 17 Main St., Warwick.
Grab a mike and release your inner pop star or sit back and sing along from your seat. Thanks to our karaoke host Michael Accardi and his digital library of music, you will be able to pick your favorites from a wide variety of songs and genres.
Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased by visiting squareup.com/store/warwick-playground-dreams.
All proceeds will be used to buy new playground equipment for Stanley-Deming Park.
Warwick Playground Dreams is a grassroots organization of Warwick parents and community volunteers who want to rejuvenate the aging playground in Stanley-Deming Park. Working together with the Village of Warwick, schools, playground designers and building consultants from Play By Design, the group’s mission is to bring a community-designed, community-built, inclusive playground to Warwick – one that will stretch the imaginations of Warwick’s children while they get the exercise they need.
