Shelters benefit from Scarlet's Way "A Dog's World!" donation drive

— Scarlet's Way "A Dog's World!" held its second annual donation drive throughout the holiday season. Owner Kayla Scarane states,

"We wanted to say a huge thank you to all of our customers who donated items for our donation drive," said owner Kayla Scarane. "Without their generosity, we would not be able to benefit two local rescues/shelters, Pets Alive and Goshen Humane Society, Inc."

The Goshen Humane Society, Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Goshen. It is a small shelter equipped to care for dogs and cats but no exotic or wild animals. Their mission, as stated on their Web site, is to work for the humane treatment of animals, to shelter these animals until loving and caring homes can be found, to educate the community about responsible pet ownership and the importance of spay/neuter.
