Sharlene's Hair Design celebrates twenty-five years in business

WARWICK — She must be doing something right.

On Thursday, December 19, Town of Warwick Supervisor, Mayor Michael Newhard and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined Sharlene Bovich, owner of Sharlene's Hair Design, and her staff to celebrate twenty-five years in business.

Sharlene's Hair Design is located at 16 Main St. in the Village of Warwick, upstairs from Taco Hombre.

Bovich, a native of Warwick, is a graduate of the Beauty School of Middletown and has continued attending advanced workshops, in-salon workshops and conferences to keep up to date with new trends, products, and techniques.

Giana Piekarz and Caitlin Connolly are stylists working with Bovich and providing all types of beauty salon services for women, men, and children. These services include haircuts to suit your style, natural looking hair color, highlights, lowlights, corrective color, body waves, smoothing treatments, and waxing. Additional specialties available at Sharlene's Hair Design are "updo" styles and makeup for weddings, proms, first communions or other special events.

Bovich is a member of The National Cosmetology Association, Behind the Chair. She is also a member of The Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Bovich believes in supporting the community and she has always donated her time and talent to students interested in the cosmetology field.

"I would like to thank all of my loyal clients, friends, and family that have supported me and my business throughout all these years," said Bovich. "And I will continue to welcome new clients to Sharlene's Hair Design."
