Share your photos and videos for the ‘Warwick at 300’ Exhibit

WARWICK — The Albert Wisner Public Library is sponsoring a photo and video project to gather images which capture the people of Warwick at work and play in 2012 and 2013 for an exhibit this April.

The library is assembling a visual record of today as part of the celebration of the three hundredth anniversary of the arrival the Wisner family and Benjamin Aske.

Photographers of all skill levels are challenged to keep their eyes open for scenes which show daily life in our community. A random drawing for a prize will and a “People’s Choice” prize will be awarded.

Essential information
Images should have been taken anywhere in the Warwick Valley School District or Town of Warwick between April 2012 and March 2013.

Submissions will be an 8 x 10 print of the photo or the video on DVD,

Entries can also be submitted via web form or link to the video on the web. Deadline for submissions is March 15.

Submissions will be kept as part of the library’s local history collection and shared with local historical societies so that many years from now people will be able to learn about and enjoy what life was like in this time.
