Seventh annual Warwick Valley EXPO 2014 welcomes more than 1,000 visitors

WARWICK — Approximately 85 businesses and organizations and more than 1,000 visitors participated in the seventh annual Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce EXPO, a community business showcase, held at the Middle School on Saturday, March 29.
"Thanks to the hard work of our committee and our volunteers, the event was, as usual, well organized and well run," said Michael Johndrow, the chamber's executive director. "And the vendors said the visitors they spoke with had a serious interest in their products and services."
Johndrow also explained that unlike similar events in many other towns, Warwick EXPO committee members are always on hand early in the day to assist vendors in setting up their booths. And to be a good neighbor, chamber volunteers remove all promotional signage throughout the town right after the event.
The Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce's EXPO 2014 showcased area businesses, both storefront and home-based, featuring local products and services as well as networking opportunities for participants.
Non-profit organizations were also on hand with special exhibits.
The entire day was open to the public free of charge and visitors had an opportunity to stop by the booths, meet the owners or representatives, ask questions and pick up literature and other give-aways.
The 2014 EXPO Committee members this year were: Dr. Ray Bryant, Sherry Bukovcan, Caeyn Burke, Elizabeth Cassidy, Garrett Durland, AnnMarie Sipilief, Kristen Weiss, Michael Johndrow, Sarah Armand and Jerrica Lavooy.
