School’s open – drive carefully

WARWICK — With the start of a new school, Warwick school, town and village officials have launched a “School’s Open – Drive Carefully” campaign.
Drivers will notice signs along roadways reminding them to “slow down,” there’s a “bus stop ahead,” and to “drive carefully” because “school’s open.”
Signs obtained from AAA also will be displayed in schools and local store windows throughout Warwick.
Drivers are urged to use extra caution on the road as school starts and throughout the year, while parents are encouraged to practice safe walking tips with their children.
