Scheuermann Farms looking for the areas largest tomato

WARWICK If you think you can grow the largest tomato, then this is the contest for you.
Scheuermann Farms & Greenhouses in the Black Dirt Region of Warwick has announced its first annual Biggest Tomato Contest.
The official weigh-in will be held Saturday, Sept. 8, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Judging will take place at 3 p.m. All tomatoes must have been grown by the person presenting them for judges review. The winning tomato will be determined by weight only. Winners must not be present to win, but will be notified by Sally and Bob Scheuermann.

Winners will be announced for first place, second and third, with winners receiving a gift certificate to Scheuermann Farms & Ooops I Forgot Gift Shop. There will be refreshments, music and fun for the whole family.
Scheuermann Farm & Greenhouse in located at 73 Little York Road, Warwick. The Scheuermann Farm is the featured outdoor performance venue for the Warwick Summer Arts Festival, the Black Dirt Feast and, if they do say so themselves, home to the worlds best sweet corn.
