The affects from Hurricane Sandy, the devastating storm that seemed to touch the entire East Coast of the United State, still lingers. Power was slow to return; so, too, was available of essentials, line gasoline. A scene like this, with cars stretching around the block at the Sunoco station in Greenwood Lake, were common place. The signs of recovery, at least locally, are already evident as seen in this photos of a home under construction in Apple Ridge Estates.
