Recently two of Warwick's historical markers were saved by volunteers. Max Hranitz, shown here, rescued the Wisner marker on Wheeler Road at Mt. Eve, which had deteriorated to the point where nearly all the paint was gone and it was hard to see. Over on Hathorn Road, Angela LeMay restored the marker for Gen. Hathorn's House. Many of the markers around the Town of Warwick need work. The project will continue next spring. If interested, contact Town of Warwick Deputy Historian Sue Gardner at warwickhistory@gmail.com.
