WARWICK — On Saturday, Dec. 9, Warwick was experiencing the first snow storm of the season.
Santa and his sleigh would have had no problem traveling but the members of the Merchant Guild decided it would be safer for visitors traveling by car if Santa's scheduled visit was postponed.
And so the following day, Sunday, Dec. 10, families came out to enjoy good weather and a popular and traditional holiday event in the Village Park at Railroad Green.
Each year during Home for the Holidays, the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce arranges to have Santa visit Warwick. And, as usual, Santa was happy and willing to hear special requests and pose for photos in his sled.
