Kathy Kruger, a nurse and Rotary District 7210 Rotaplast officer from Pleasant Valley, accepts a $1,200 check from Warwick Rotarians which will help put smiles on children after free reconstructive cleft palate operations and treatment. The Warwick Valley Rotary Club is a sustaining partner of Rotaplast International, which has as its goal eliminating untreated cleft lips and palates in children by 2025. Assistant District Governor Stan Martin, left, and Warwick Rotary President John Buckley are shown with Kruger and the club’s Rotaplast banner which hangs during meetings held each Wednesday noon at the Landmark Inn.
