The Warwick Valley Rotary Club has long supported Winslow Therapeutic Center’s Healing with Horses programs with financial and volunteer efforts. In June the two local non-profit organizations co-sponsored Sunset at the Stables. The fund-raising dinner dance attracted 400 persons and raised almost $87,000. Rotary members from the local service club recently presented a $3,500 check to the not-for-profit center at the Ruth B. Ottaway Arena. Winslow, founded in 1974, provides therapeutic horseback riding for 1,000 children and adults with mental and physical disabilities. Winslow is located on 100 acres in the Town of Warwick, just off Route 17A between Bellvale and Mt. Peter.
