Janice Valentino, director of marketing for Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, accepts a $500 donation from Warwick Valley Rotary Club’s immediate past President Wayne Patterson. Hospice provides specialized care programs for terminally ill patients. Services are coordinated through an interdisciplinary team which includes nurses, social workers, physicians, spiritual care, volunteers and related therapists. The Warwick Rotary Club, consisting of local business and professional men and women, also donated $500 to Inspire for its wide-ranging therapy programs. Rotarians meet each Wednesday noon at the Landmark Inn. Members help support about 30 organizations and provide college and Winslow Therapeutic scholarships.
