Three food pantries received checks totaling about $2,000 at a recent Warwick Valley Rotary Club meeting. They are among three dozen organizations which receive financial and volunteer assistance from Warwick Rotarians. Shown, left to right, are Warwick Rotary President John Buckley, Rotary Community Service Director Maggi Verhagen, Greenwood Lake Food Pantry Treasurer Don Distel, Florida Community Food Pantry Volunteers Dottie Ehlers and Diana Thibault, Warwick Food Pantry Representative Marge Koopman and Rotary Assistant Governor Stan Martin. Rotary is an international service organization that has some 1.2 million business, professional and community leader members in 33,000 clubs located in more than 200 countries. Warwick Rotarians are members of a 60-member service club which meets each Wednesday noon at the Landmark Inn. Potential members are welcome to attend.
