WARWICK — They started in 2007 with 30 children and have grown to care and educate well over 100 children each year.

On Sept. 24, town and chamber representatives of Commerce joined Director Catherine Hecht, members of the Hecht and Harnick families and staff to celebrate the eighth anniversary of Rhythm and Rhyme Child Care.

The family owned and operated child care center is located at 65 Ronald Reagan Blvd. just off Kings Highway in Warwick.

"As each year starts we continue to thank the community and families we serve to enable us to provide quality early education, and after school care," said Hecht. "Our teachers and staff remain consistent to our philosophy of individualism, creativity and community awareness. Being a family-owned business, we take great pride in watching the children grow and enter the elementary schools well prepared for the future ahead, and in making strong ties with all the families we have come to know. Children need time to play and learn in an environment void of stresses, but well equipped with the tools to manage the world around them."

Rhythm and Rhyme Child Care is licensed by the State of New York.

Extended hours enable flexibility in scheduling. In addition to infant and toddler programs, the center offers kindergarten readiness, before and after school programs and a summer program. The center is open all year round.

"The Hecht and Harnick family truly thank all the wonderful families that make us want to come to work each day," said Hecht.
