Retired WPD Officer Peter Artusa named to IWCA Board of Directors
WARWICK — Peter Artusa, the president of All County Window Cleaning and a retired Warwick Police officer, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the International Window Cleaning Association (IWCA).
The board appointment comes as his company, All County Window Cleaning, fast approaches its 20th year of doing business in the New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania areas.
In 2007 Artusa retired after a 22-year career with the Town of Warwick Police Department.
During those years he formed the first K9 unit in the department, where he worked with his first dog, Paco. He then continued to work with his second K9, Basko.
Right after his retirement in 2007, Artusa founded his own company, A Sparkling View.
In 2013 he purchased All County Window Cleaning, a company, which had been established in 2000 and which now employs more than 30 people.
"If it wasn't for the Warwick community as a whole," said Artusa, "my success would have never grown as fast as it did. Warwick is a great community to start and grow a business, from the government that encourages business and the local chambers."
Artusa is married to Tammy Artusa, a managing supervisor at Seely & Durland.
They have three children, a daughter, Daniela, and two sons, Nicholas and Tyler, who is now attending SUNY Dutchess pursuing a business degree in aviation.
They also have two granddaughters, Sophia and Emily.
Artusa will serve a three-year term with the IWCA and then he can become an officer with the organization.
The IWCA, founded in 1989, currently represents approximately 370 professional members and 25 associate members.
Artusa is also a board member for HEReos in Deed, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization inspired by the memory of Army Lt. Col. Jamie E Leonard who was killed in Afghanistan on June 8, 2013.
All County Window Cleaning promises streak free washing and has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
