Registration 3 Pines Nature Place's early spring preschool program taking place

    WARWICK — The Warwick Valley Community Center's next 3 Pines Nature Place program will begin Tuesday, April 3 and will feature nature educator Pam Golben, who will offer an early spring nature program for 2- to 4-year- old preschoolers and their parents/caretakers.
    Little Cones, 3-Pines Nature Place’s preschool program, will run every Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. for six weeks. The nature series will include both indoor and outdoor activity, live animals and sound recordings along with a craft and story.
    Each week will cover a spring topic such as salamanders, birds, nests and eggs, cottontails, spring plants and toads and more.
    Golben holds degrees in animal and environmental science. She has been a New York State licensed wildlife rehabilitator for over 20 years and is known for her approaches to teaching toddlers and preschoolers about "everything nature."
    In addition to teaching about nature at a nearby nature museum, Golben is involved in beekeeping, growing native wildflowers, hiking and gardening.
    The cost for the series is $90 and with 10 spots available.
