Regal Homes & Properties announces winners of Holiday Light Show

WARWICK — Patricia Brady and Kim Corkum, broker/principals of Regal Homes & Properties, Inc., 1 Galloway Heights, recently announced the winners of their first annual Holiday Light Show contest.

First place went to Toni Ann Pappas for her home on West Street.

Rocco Manno's home on Demarest Road took second place.

The third place prize went to Canterbury Lane residents Jeremy and Tania Hudson.

Homeowners, who pride themselves for creatively decorating their houses during the holiday season, were invited to enter the contest on Facebook. Viewers would then vote for their favorite home and the most "likes" won.

"We will be making this an annual contest," said Corkum." And in October we will get the information out for all Warwick residents to participate in our 2014 Holiday Light Show contest."

Cash prizes of $105 for first place, $85 for second and $25 for third were awarded in "Warwick Bucks" gift certificates.

"We did that," said Corkum," to help the local economy."

Third place also received a $25 gift certificate from Larry's Deli. And the three entrees who received honorable mention each received $20 in Warwick Bucks.

Gift Certificates in five and ten-dollar denominations are available and redeemable at most Warwick shops. That way the money stays in the community, supports local merchants and helps to keep the downtown area viable.

In 2012 Regal Homes & Properties celebrated its 10th anniversary.

The real estate agency is a member of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce and has a history of designing projects to support the community and local charitable organizations.
