WARWICK — On June 20, Mayor Michael Newhard and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined Hauda Ward, her family, store manager and business associate Celia Cantelmo for the grand opening of her new consignment store.

Reclaimed Consignment Boutique, described as an earth-friendly shop where you can "Recycle Reuse & Restyle" couture clothing and accessories is located at 11 West Street, just a few steps away from the downtown Warwick shopping district.

The shop was recently renovated and decorated with almost entirely recycled/re-purposed materials.

Reclaimed features the latest designs from Chanel, Gucci, Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton to vintage pieces from Pucci and Hermes.

The large consignment inventory of pre-owned and like-new fashions is updated on a daily basis, so there is always something new each time you visit and there are many unique items worn maybe once, if ever at all.

"At Reclaimed Consignment Boutique recycling and high fashion go hand and hand," said Ward. "We all want to help keep our world green and clean, so why not look fabulous doing it?"

Every new consignor that signs up receives a recycled burlap bag to use for items to be consigned. Reclaimed does not charge an annual registration fee and consignors receive 50 per cent of the sale price.

"We have been in the consignment business for over 20 years," said Ward. "We travel extensively to bring you the latest couture fashions and accessories along with whatever else you might find tantalizing this season. From the Paris runway to the shops of 5th Avenue, we bring you the finest designers from around the world."

Reclaimed Consignment Boutique is open seven days from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
