R&D Accounting and Business Management hosts ribbon-cutting ceremony

CHESTER — Last month, local business and public officials joined owner Rochelle DeJong and her staff for the official grand opening of R&D Accounting and Business Management.

The new company, formerly R&D Bookkeeping, a payroll, bookkeeping and administrative services company, recently moved from 11 Oakland Ave. in Warwick Village to 1108 Kings Highway in Chester.

R&D Accounting and Business Management provides bookkeeping, payroll with direct deposit, attorney trust management, business consulting for small businesses, certified payroll for contractors, personal tax preparation and administrative services.

DeJong is a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor and certified payroll coordinator.

The company provides QuickBooks setup and conversions, which, explained DeJong, works well for personal accounting needs as well as meeting business accounting requirements from billing clients and managing inventory to creating invoices/estimates, payroll, and generating financial reports.

Regularly scheduled QuickBook trainings are held at the R&D offices with each participant working at a separate computer station for a hands-on learning experience. The company also provides private training sessions.
