Rand Realty hosts self-defense class for real estate professionals

WARWICK — On Wednesday, April, 11, Danielle Roche, an associate broker with Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty, fended off mock attacks by volunteer Mike Vanmansart, a mortgage loan originator with Hudson United Mortgage.
Roche, who also happens to be a Certified Black Belt Master Instructor with Chosun Taekwondo Academy, was conducting a self-defense class for real estate professionals.
Seventeen students registered for the class held at the Warwick Historical Society's A.W. Buckbee Center.
The course, sponsored by Rand Realty, was designed to provide self-defensive training and tips directly related to real estate professionals, both male and female.
The tuition was $10 and all proceeds were donated to the Warwick Historical Society.
