By all accounts, last weekend's Winter Carnival at the Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park in Greenwood Lake was a rousing success. There were family friendly outdoor activities, including a petting zoo and pony rides. There were food trucks and entertainment. And on Sunday, after police and firefighter broke through the ice, a dozen or so brave souls plunged into the frigid waters of Greenwood Lake. Doesn't matter why. Because they could.
