The long-awaited completion of the Parkway Bridge and arch culvert is expected to take place within two weeks. Road repair, water main and related site work, the result of severe damage during last year’s Hurricane Irene, began in July. The project, a complete fabrication of a culvert structure, required the Village of Warwick to comply with numerous mandated studies as well as public bidding. Mayor Michael Newhard said FEMA has allocated two separate grants, totally approximately $490,000, to complete the project.
